Obituary of Eileen D. Morganstein
Our mother, Eileen (Herman) Morganstein was born June 7, 1931, in the Bronx, New York. She was the beloved widow of David Morganstein. Her deceased parents, Rose and Max Herman, and much-loved Grandparents, Eva and Jacob Felsher, were all from Monticello, NY.
Surviving, are her dear children, Marla Rasnick, and Eddie Morganstein ( Lea ); her Grandchildren, Jessica Stetter (David), Amanda Robinson (Ted), Eli Rasnick (Nikki), D.J. Morgan (Katie), Karleen O’Connell-Morganstein (Moira), and Zachary Morganstein, her Great-Grandchildren, Tana and Aspen Stetter, Vera, Aggie, and Osias Rasnick, Weylyn Robinson, Sam, and Genevieve Morgan.
She was employed for many years at the Concord Jewelers, and the Kiamesha Post Office, but her favorite job was 20 years with “Getting to Know You” (aka Welcome Wagon), as a sales executive. One of her greatest joys was her "magical" garden, flowers, plants, doing needlework and crosswords, but best of all, plaything Scrabble with Marla, Eddie and Zachary. She had no siblings, but many adored cousins, and very dear friends and neighbors.
Due to COVID, everything will be private at the convenience of the Family.
