Obituary of Anthony M. Russo
On the morning of Sunday, February 13, 2022, Anthony Martin Russo of Wurtsboro, died at the age of 80 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City.
Anthony was born to Mathew and Philomena Russo on November 23, 1941 in Brooklyn. He was a hardworking, joke telling, avid lover of classic automobiles which was passed down to his sons and grandson. He also thrived in his kitchen, and everyone will miss his eggplant parmesan. Anthony had a hot dog business and a sewer cleaning business, and was well liked by everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. Russo; two sons: Joseph J. Russo & his wife Tara Buckstad-Russo, and Anthony M. Russo; two grandchildren, Kirsten and Hunter; a brother-in-law: Dennis (Laura) Petersen; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister at birth.
