Uncle al will always be remembered for his beautiful smile. My condolences to family for their loss. He is with aunt Clara whom he loved very much and all our loved ones. I will remember his delicious spaghetti sauce as he was a great cook. And of course his affectionate name he called me Vivi. God bless and rest in peace

Yes Vivian, I remember the spaghetti sauce and meatballs very well, my favorite times as a child growing up in Monticello was spending time with Aunt Clara, Uncle Al and all my cousins.

My most heartfelt sympathies to the DeSimone family, especially my cousins whom I grew up with; Anthony & the girls. My sisters and I were blessed to live close by. We would walk up our road & through the trolley bed, which came out right across from Uncle Al & Aunt Clara’s. Uncle Al was always cheerful, gave us each a hug, and called my sister, Vivian “BeBeann”. We will miss him dearly. When you’re younger, it seems like they’ll be around forever. Cherish your loved ones. They are a gift from God. A blessing. We love you, Uncle Al. Rest In Peace, and May perpetual light shine upon you. Love, your 3 nieces, Carol, Vivian, and Eda.
