Obituary of Ayden Jerry Clifton Davis

Ayden J. Davis was born on June 10, 2009 to Shamika Davis and Yakub Brown.   On December 14, 2021, at the tender age of 12 years old, Ayden entered into eternal rest.

 Ayden was a 7th grade student at the Fallsburg Central Junior High School, where he participated in many school activities.  Ayden was a member of the “My Brother’s Keeper” program, which was started by former President Barack Obama. 

 Ayden’s favorite color was blue.  He loved riding bikes and playing video games like Naruto, Fort Nite and Dragon Ball Z.  He enjoyed all Marvel Superhero movies, especially Spiderman.  He also had a passion for Legos and he took great pride in building things.  Ayden loved all of his friends and family and developed many long-lasting friendships in school and in his community.  He will be remembered for his bright smile, no matter what was happening around him.

Ayden leaves behind to cherish his memories—his mother, Shamika Davis; father, Yakub Brown; two brothers, Demario K. Davis and Yakub Brown; one sister, Jasirah Brown; grandfather, Ivan Davis; grandmother, Michelle Williams; three aunts, Nya Williams, Keyona Gibson and Samiyah Ramos; four uncles, Tyrece Williams, Rashad Williams, Jahari Ramos and Jasper Ramos; and a host of cousins, family and friends. 

Ayden, all of the love we had for you could not keep you here, so we resign our will to God’s will, believing that He knows what is best.  Rest well until we meet again.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22 from 2:00 to 3:30pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
