Louise Wells McBrien, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Middletown Park Manor. She was 90.The daughter of the late Charles Cantrell and Grace Kinne Cantrell, she was born March 10, 1919 in Middletown. She is survived by her husband: Raymond McBrien of Willsboro; a daughter: Barbara Brochu of Monticello; a son: Gordon Wells & his wife Linda of Frankfort; seven grandchildren: Jim Brochu Jr., Laurie Thelman, Cindi Brasington, Brian Wells, Chris Wells, David Wells and Jon Wells; and eighteen great grandchildren.She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Wells Sr.; and her son: Charles "Bucky" Wells Jr.Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.Memorial contributions can be made to the Monticello Fire Dept., 23 Richardson Ave., Monticello, NY 12701.Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
