Betty J. McMahon of Wurtsboro, a retired certified nursing assistant, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in Middletown.  She was 76.

 

The daughter of the late William and Daisy Croci, she was born April 16, 1945 in Mahwah, NJ.  She was the widow of Joseph W. McMahon who predeceased her on October 6, 1996.

 

She is survived by a son: Joseph V. McMahon of Wurtsboro; a daughter: Denise White & her husband Anthony of Cuddebackville; two grandchildren: Angelina & Olivia; a sister: Rita Lohr & her husband Dennis of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, William & Thomas Croci; two sisters, Carmella Keller and Patricia Croci; and a granddaughter Tribeca White.

 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro, with a funeral service starting at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
