Ellen ws my cousin, but since we lived in Texas, we hadn't seen each other for about 60 years. We did exchange Christmas cards virtually every year. I shall miss that connection with her.
As her “compassionate care kin” we loved Ellen throughout our 24 year relationship. Ellen was very fond of our first dog-a toy poodle named “LOLA” and it was then that she shared her story about their medium size poodle. Ellen kept a purple plush poodle as her tribute to her dog. We brought that “poodle” to her at Braemar Living. Everyone at Braemar enjoyed Ellen’s many stories.
