Obituary of June Marie Nieves
June Marie Nieves of Summitville, a retired secretary and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Middletown. She was 75.
The daughter of the late Ernest Ferguson and Orpha McDowell Ferguson, she was born June 20, 1946 in Summitville.
An amazing wife and mother, June loved her home and was all about family. She was also an animal lover and an avid Bible reader.
She is survived by her husband: Eric Nieves Sr.; a daughter: Maria Dusenbery & her husband Oscar; and a son: Eric Nieves Jr., all of Summitville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Ferguson.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, November 2 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with a prayer service starting at approx. 5:30pm.
