Carolyn A. Price, a lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at her home in Monticello. She was 55.The daughter of Walter Magie and Lenora Taggart Magie, she was born December 10, 1953 in Monticello.Carolyn touched the lives of many people. She enjoyed spending time with her animals and loved quilting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will always hold a special place in our hearts.She is survived by her husband: Gary Price, at home; two daughters: Billie Jean McGinnis & her husband Chris, and Jamie Brasington & her husband Shaun, all of Monticello; a grandson: Liam; her parents: Walter & Lenora Magie of Monticello; a brother: Walter "Butch" Magie and Laura of Forestburgh; a sister: Susan Stackhouse & her husband Jerry of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to gather at the Monticello Fire Dept., 23 Richardson Avenue in Monticello on Friday, December 11 at 11:00am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 419 East Main Street, Suite 307B, Middletown, NY 10940.Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
