Obituary of Robert William Wagner
Robert William Wagner, a loving uncle and United States Marine Veteran, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at home in Mongaup Valley. He was 90.
The son of the late William Wagner and Elizabeth Kussie Wagner, he was born October 24, 1930 in the Bronx.
Apart from being an avid Yankee fan, Robert was a devout family member. He would rarely be seen without his Yankee hat and was always ready to crack a joke. Known simply as “Uncle” to all close to him, it was a title that he held proudly. Uncle will be surely missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his nephew, William Wagner & his wife Olga; and his nieces, Debbie Wagner Poulos & her husband Thenny, Janet Wagner Poccia, Laura Wagner Francella, and Elizabeth Wagner. He was also a great and great- great Uncle to several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Edward Wagner.
