Obituary of Marion E. Fenical

Marion E. Fenical, 96, a former resident of Bloomingburg, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Port Charlotte, Florida where she has been residing for many years. 

The daughter of the late Roy Bathrick and Verna Swartz Bathrick, she was born December 16, 1924 in Red Hook, NY.  She was the widow of Charles L. Fenical who predeceased her in 1978.

Marion was a housekeeper at the Middletown Holiday Inn for many years, working until she was 80 years old.  She was loved by everyone that met her.  She was a fun spirit and always looked for the good in everyone.  May she rest in peace.

She is survived by  a son: Bill Fenical (Dawn) of Edgewater, FL; a sister: Viola Desch of Albany, NY; her grandchildren: Mindy Fenical of Port Charlotte, FL, Rick Fenical (Dawn) of Arcadia, FL, Candice Mullady (Bill) of Middletown, CJ Fenical of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Aron Fenical of Washingtonville, and Michael, John & Annie Fenical of Pennsylvania; great grandkids: Jake Fenical, Kylie Montoya (Vinny), Jessica Boniface, Cole Peterson, Wes Mumpower, and Josh, Justin & Shelby Fenical; great great grandkid: Kash Montoya; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Charles, she was predeceased by a son, Charles R. Fenical; and three brothers, Robert, Walter and Royden Bathrick.  “To live in the hearts of those you loved is never to die.”

Private burial will be held at the Middle Smithfield Cemetery in Stroudsburg, PA.
