Obituary of Angie Sipos Hill

Angie Sipos Hill, a bookkeeper and homemaker, and longtime resident of the area, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at her home in Forestburgh surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Antonio Pagano and Oliva Autunno Pagano, she was born August 6, 1919 in New York City. She was the widow of William B. Hill who predeceased her in 1964. She is survived by a son: John J. "Bill" Sipos & his wife Virginia; a daughter: Wendy M. Sipos; her grandchildren: William B. Sipos & his wife MaryEllen, Robert J. Sipos & his fianc Lori Lahoda, Michelle Velasquez & her husband Ivan and James LeConey & his wife Michelle; seven great grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers: Anthony Pagano of Marlboro and Albert Pagano of Marlboro; two sisters: Josephine Yannone of Newburgh and Vee Frederico of Newburgh; several nieces and nephews; her loving caregiver Calmeta Kelly; and her loving dog: Bootsie. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by seven siblings: Sam Pagano, Michael Pagano, Mary Alonge, Rose Croyle, Yolanda Dorazio, Sadie Myer, and Vinnie Celeste. Angie loved her family, her home and her pets above all. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Fr. Ivan Csete officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Peter's Cemetery in Monticello. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550 or to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Forestburgh, NY 12777.
