Obituary of Mark A. Branch Sr.

Mark Anthony Branch, a home health aide and lifelong resident of the area, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

The son of the late Edward Branch and Juanita Waller Branch, he was born December 9, 1964 in Monticello.

Mark was a loving husband and a great father who had a heart of gold. He loved and adored spending time with his grandchildren. He was always there for everybody and anybody. He loved music and being with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife: Mabel McClelland Branch; three sons: Mark Branch Jr. of South Carolina, Jermel Branch of Monticello and Curtis Price of Port Jervis; five grandchildren: Cameron Price, Jaiden Price, Aaliyah Price, Carson Branch and Gianna Price; brothers: Edward L. Branch, Jr. (Wendy), Vincent Silver and Mike Silver; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Jeffrey, a brother Arthur, and a sister Regina.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 2:00pm at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello with Pastor Ryan Tinsley officiating.  Viewing will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the church.  Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met - a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the church, and facemasks are required.
