Obituary of Daryl F. Roberts
Daryl Frederick Roberts, age 64, of Wurtsboro, New York, passed away on July 6, 2021 in Middletown, New York.
Daryl was born in Pasadena, California to Frederick and Edith Roberts on August 3, 1956. He attended Pasadena High School, graduating in 1974. He participated in his high school’s gymnastics team, excelling particularly in the side horse. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in 1978 from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. His primary vocation in life was in the insurance industry. Daryl enjoyed bicycle riding, traveling, and flying. He was an avid pilot and especially enjoyed flying gliders.
Daryl is survived by his sweetheart Cheryl Smiley, his brother Douglas (Ella) Roberts, his sister Deborah (William) Miller, and nephews Doug Roberts, Jr. and Isaac Roberts. He is predeceased in death by his parents Frederick and Edith Roberts and infant brother Duane Roberts.
