Robert F. Cousin of Bloomingburg, a retired self-employed cabinetmaker, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at the ORMC-Horton Campus in Middletown. He was 89.
The son of the late Edward and Mary Cousin, he was born September 20, 1920 in the Bronx.
Bob was veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, and was a charter member of the Mamakating VFW Post.
He is survived by a sister-in-law: Roberta Cousin of Circleville and many area friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother: Edward.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2 from 9-11am at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
