Obituary of Gloria Lorraine Cohn
Gloria L. Cohn, a City of Linden NJ School Crossing Guard, peacefully passed away at Garnet Health SNU in Harris on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was 89.
The daughter of the late John “Jack” Cooper and Theresa Bohn Cooper, she was born January 15, 1932 in the Bronx. She was the widow of Murray Cohn who predeceased her on February 13, 1994.
Gloria's family would like to thank the Nurses, Staff, and Doctors of the Skilled Nursing Unit, at Garnet Health Harris, for their tireless efforts and excellent care they gave to Gloria during her stay there. They will always remember her for her “Feistiness”.
She is survived by her children: Michael Cohn and his wife Brenda of Harris, and Mindy Cohen and her husband David of Ferndale; 5 grandchildren: Samantha Cohn, Melissa Cohen, Dan Cohen, Phil Cohen, and Mike Cohen; 3 brothers: Steve Cooper and his wife Tina of Seattle, WA, Kenneth Cooper of Kingston, and Clifford Cooper and his wife Lee of Kingston; and niece Kathleen Cooper of Lake Katrine.
Graveside services will be private at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
