Inez Wallace entered into eternal rest Friday, October 30, 2009 at Middletown Park Manor. She was 76.
She was born in Orangeburg, SC, to Nora Seabrooks. Inez was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert, her infant son James and two grandchildren: Tremayne and Elijah. Survivors include her sons: Howard, Stanley, Daniel, Charles and Steven; her daughters: Lois, Maryann, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Esther, Beatrice, Willie Mae, Anna and Lenore; 38 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; close friends and her best friend Miss Angie; three sisters: Peggy, Betty and Rosa.
Inez was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church for over 20 years. She retired after 33 years from Falls Poultry. Inez loved cooking, knitting and spending time with family and friends. We loved her much but God loved her best, he whispered in her ear, come home Inez and take your rest.
Visitation will be held 10-12noon on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at New Salem Baptist Church, on Waverly Ave in Monticello with a 12:00 noon service at the church. Harry Watson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
