Obituary of Matthew J. McCauley

Matthew Joseph McCauley, Matt, 23 of Kauneonga Lake, NY a blessing brought into this world on June 23, 1989. The beloved only child of Cynthia and Michael McCauley. His life was tragically taken December 16, 2012. Matt attended Monticello High School, graduating in 2007. Matt will forever be remembered for his cheerful and bright smile. He had a passion for motors and loved to work with and around cars, dictating his passion for working at the Monticello Motor Club. His loving memory will be forever treasured by his parents, maternal grandparents, Theresa and Ferdinand Cupolo; and his paternal grandparents Robert and Judy McCauley. He was special to all who loved him especially his aunts, uncles and cousins, his girlfriend, Julia Solberg and closest friends. His love for his family and friends was evident in his compassionate heart. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We will all miss the joy and love that he brought into our lives. Friends are invited to share in memory of Matt's life at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello on Thursday, December 20, 2012 with visitation from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm. There will be a church service held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Rock Hill Church of the Nazarene, 210 Katrina Falls Road in Rock Hill at 10:00am, followed by the interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel.
