Waltenia Y. Taylor, was born on February 25, 1960 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Preceded by her parents Betty J. Glenn and Emmett Robbins and her sister, Diane (Heavy) Johnson. Waltenia passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Albany, New York surrounded by her loved ones.

Waltenia received her education in the Public School System of Monticello, New York, graduating in 1978. Furthering her education by attending the State University College at Old Westbury. She later moved to Albany, N.Y. and resided there for over 30 years. Waltenia touched the lives of so many with her endless acts of kindness. Waltenia was an amazing and generous woman who went above and beyond for anyone who needed her help. She loved her job as a Case Manager at (IPH) and has left an impression in the hearts of so many. She referred to them as her beautiful people. They trusted her and knew she was genuinely cared for them.

Waltenia is survived by her sister, Dolores Epps (Hempstead, N.Y.); daughter, Anisha Baker and son, Rashad McNeil both of Albany, N.Y. Two grandchildren, Ramar Courtwright, Imani Brown. Two uncles Emanual Johnson Jr (Lucille) of Albany, N.Y, Tommie Johnson (Shirley) Milledgeville, Ga. Seven nieces, Sequawa, Tamesha, Burnell, Yvette, Yvonne, Selina, and Megan (Johnson) Albany, N.Y. Two nephews Randy Epps Jr (Houston N.Y.), Keith Epps (Concord, N.C.). Special sister-cousin, Gwen El-Amin, and a host of cousins and extended family and friends.
