Obituary of Cynthia Martinez

Cynthia Martinez of Monticello, a former employee of Shop Rite in Monticello, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020.  She was 51.

 

The daughter of the late Cecil Nichols and Leana Ballinger Nichols, she was born October 24, 1968 in Harris. She was a member of the Friendship Church in Liberty NY.

 

She is survived by her children: David Nichols, Michael Nichols, Israel Martinez, Carol Vera and Brianna Vera; and her siblings: Vernell Cassidy and Linda Ballinger.

 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8 from 12pm to 2pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A graveside service and burial will follow at 2:00pm at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.  Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met - a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the funeral home and at the cemetery, and facemasks are required.
