Coleen Marie Babcock Speirs, a former waitress at Denny’s in Middletown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 3, 2020 at her home in Wurtsboro. She was 41.
The daughter of Nancy Spears Babcock and the late Harry Babcock, she was born December 5, 1978 in Goshen.
She is survived by her husband: Richard V. Speirs; a son: Steven; a daughter: Samantha (Josh); two sisters: Danielle Ruisi and Stephanie Babcock (Dillion); two half siblings: Eric and Nadine; her mother: Nancy Babcock; her mother-in-law: Mary Mader; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 4:00-6:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met - a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the funeral home, and facemasks are required.
Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family to cover additional funeral costs.
