Adele Friedman Langone of Wurtsboro, a retired bookkeeper and longtime resident of the area, died Friday, August 14, 2009 at ORMC - Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 79.The daughter of the late Sol Friedman and Frieda Goldenberg Friedman, she was born March 31, 1930 in the Bronx.She is survived by her husband: Joseph R. Langone, at home; a son: Barry Fields & his wife Karen of Easton, PA; four daughters: Karen L. Friedfeld of Hollywood, FL, Jill E. Friedfeld of Hollywood, FL, Jackie L. Shoemaker & her husband Jack of Easton, PA and Anita Fasano & her husband Mike of Edison, NJ; a brother: Albert Friedman & his wife Charlotte of California; five grandchildren: Eric, Jamie, Daniel, Stephanie and Shane; and several nieces & nephews.Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17 from 6-8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral service will be held on Monday evening at 8:00 at the funeral home.Memorial contributions can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 500 Helendale Road, Suite 153, Rochester, NY 14609Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
