Wardell Clarence Graham, a retired painter and former resident of the area, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his home in Galveston, Texas. He was 65.The son of the late William Graham and Sara Blanche Green-Graham, he was born May 31, 1943 in Meridale, NY. He served in both the United States Army and Navy.He is survived by a daughter: Judith Graham-Baisley of Grahamsville; a son David W. Graham of Loch Sheldrake; his twin brother Warren Graham of Grahamsville, brother Willard Graham of Missouri, brother Charles Graham of Oregon, brother Danford Graham of Georgia; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Phineas Graham.His funeral service and burial will be held privately at the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery in Grahamsville, NY.Memorial contributions can be made to any charity pertaining to pulmonary or cancer research, diabetes or disabled veterans.Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
