Renee L. Maltese of Monticello died Monday, May 25, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 65. Her laughter and her love will always be in our hearts.The daughter of the late Frederic F. Cornell and Lenore M. Capparella Cornell, she was born May 21, 1944 in Yonkers.She is survived by her husband: John Maltese, at home; a son: Robert Pellicci & his wife Jen of Pine Bush; a daughter: Darleen Pellicci & her husband Ken of Monticello; three grandchildren: Kenny, Kyle & Savannah; a sister: Doreen Donovan & her husband Robert of Tampa, FL; a niece: Tara Fraley & her husband Doug and their children, Drew & Devin; and a nephew: Steven Donovan.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother: Kenneth Cornell.Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Broadway and Liberty Street in Monticello. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 419 East Main Street, Suite 307B, Middletown, NY 10940 or to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
