Obituary of Vito Buffa

Vito Buffa, a retired technician for Grumman Aircraft in Calverton, Long Island, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the ORMC - Arden Hill Campus in Goshen. He was 83.
The son of the late Diego Buffa and Nina Colota Buffa, he was born July 14, 1925 in Brooklyn. He was the widower of Edith Cappelluzzo Buffa, who predeceased him on December 21, 1996.
Mr. Buffa served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter: Judith Buffa Kunis & her husband Robert of Monticello; a son: David Buffa of Brooklyn; a granddaughter: Jordan; a brother: Jasper; two sisters: Franci & Sue; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was predeceased by his siblings: Anthony, James, Pina & Marci.
Burial with military honors will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, Long Island.
