Louberta Finn, a lifelong resident of Monticello, NY/East Orange, NJ, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, NJ. She was 75 years old. Louberta, the youngest child born to Ollie Maness-Pope and Herbert Pope, was born on January 9, 1934 in Newark, NJ. She is survived by her brother, Robert Pope of East Orange, NJ; two sons, Gerald Finn of Minnesota and Robert Finn of Kauneonga Lake, NY; four daughters: Betty Winbush and Dorothy Robinson both of Minnesota, Tonya Finn-Mosley of Monticello, NY and India Finn-Centelles of East Orange, NJ and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her husband, Roy Finn, Sr., her parents, two brothers, Herbert Pope Jr. and Felton Pope and five children, Maryann Hall, Herbert Finn, Opal Kimble, Roy "Sonny" Finn Jr., and Olletta Finn predeceased her. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Bethlehem Temple Church, Fairground Road in Monticello, NY, and her funeral services will follow at Noon at the church with Bishop Mervin Armstead officiating.
