Duane M. Koskey of Monticello died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Monticello. He was 34. The son of Walter Koskey and Janice Conklin Koskey, he was born February 23, 1974 in Yonkers. Duane was a truck driver who loved stock car racing. A loving father, he will be extremely missed by all of his children and loved ones. He is survived by his parents: Walter & Janice Koskey of Thompsonville; his children: Duane Jr., Miranda, Tori, Brandyn, Hailey, Juiliona, Dustin & Cody; two brothers: Walter Koskey & his wife Carla of Liberty and Edward Koskey & his wife Jane of Monticello; a sister: Tara Everett & her companion Bruce Pecsi Jr. of Neversink; his paternal grandmother: Elizabeth Koskey of Bronxville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to benefit Duane's children and can be directed to Tara Everett at P.O. Box 204, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.
