Obituary of Paula Palladino

Paula Palladino of Wurtsboro, a retired hairdresser and former resident of Irvington, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the ORMC - Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 92.
The daughter of the late John Scarparo and Erminia Sorice Scarparo, she was born September 16, 1916 in Italy. She was the widow of William C. Stone and Patrick Palladino.
Mrs. Palladino was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington and was active with the Irvington Seniors.
She is survived by two daughters: Kathleen M. Bremner & her husband Roy of Wurtsboro and Cynthia Dietz of Wurtsboro; a son: William C. Stone of El Sobrante, CA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a stepson: Donald Palladino & his wife Terry of Staten Island; and numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother: Anthony Scarparo; and a sister: Rose Festa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 1 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will follow at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Irvington.
