Marcella "Madge" Herschel, a resident of Wurtsboro, NY and Plantation died October 27, 2012. She was 79. She was a former employee of Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, NJ.
The daughter of the late Arthur C. Faller and Marcella West Faller, she was born August 7, 1933 in Fairview, NJ.
She is survived by her children: Laurajean Niesel of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Michele Graham & her husband Rodney of Wurtsboro, and Joseph Herschel of Rock Hill; her grandchildren: Lee Ann (Richard), Christopher (Nicole), Megan (Alex), Jessica, Jennifer and Victoria; her great grandchildren: Rocco and Cali; a sister: Elizabeth Clark & her husband James of Warwick; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter: Lee Ann Herschel.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 8 from 5-8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 9 at 10am at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, High Street in Bloomingburg with Fr. Stephen Tran officiating. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
