Robert Curtis Oles, a retired carpenter for Wright Finishing in Monticello, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at his home in Yankee Lake surrounded by his family. He was 74.
The son of the late Thomas F. Oles Sr. and Helen Carey Oles, he was born June 29, 1933 in Manhattan.
Mr. Oles was also a former owner of a luncheonette in Yonkers and a soft ice cream stand in Summitville.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Adreanna Cacace Oles, at home; two brothers: Thomas Oles, Jr. and Edward Oles; four sisters: Dee Teddy, Joan Oles, Doris Perez and Eileen Heinz; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother: Gerald Oles.
Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
