Etta Ritchie Candela died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her home in Summitville surrounded by her family. She was 55.
The daughter of Bertha Babcock Ritchie and the late Leonard Ritchie, she was born July 23, 1952 in Englewood, NJ. She was a teachers assistant at Inspire Kids preschool in Goshen for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend.
Etta is survived by her husband: Donald Mario Candela, at home; her mother: Bertha Ritchie of Monticello; a son: Jack Candela & his wife Rebecca of Middletown; two daughters: Jody Pfaff & her husband Ben of Kerhonkson, and Kim Candela of Summitville; four grandchildren: Jack, Ben, Anthony & Ben; and a sister: Jane Ritchie of Arizona.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 1pm at the Candela residence in Summitville.
