Carmen Budny of Monticello, a retired registered nurse, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 92.
The daughter of the late Jose A. Gonzalez and Louisa Abrego Gonzalez, she was born March 24, 1915 in Panama.
She is survived by a sister: Eva Ospina of Monticello; many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and godchildren, both here in the United States and in Panama.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at St. Peters Church, Broadway and Liberty Street in Monticello with Fr. John Tran officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Monticello.
