Estella Davis-Foy, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 81. The daughter of the late Henry Connie Davis and Stella Shaw Davis, she was born February 13, 1926 in Selma, NC. She was the widow of Eddie Foy. She is survived by three sons: Elijah Foy of Georgia, James Foy of Jeffersonville, and Stevie Chisolm of North Carolina; three daughters: Ellouise Foy-Browne of Long Eddy, Adell Foy of Maryland, and Monique Chisolm of Monticello; a brother: Willie Elliott of Fayetteville, NC; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 8, at 11 a.m. at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
