Lamar E. Kimble, a lifelong resident of Monticello, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at home at the age of 52.
Lamar was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 7, 1955 to the late Margerite Kimble and Lawrence Riles.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Melba L. Kimble; four beloved daughters: Shaunte, MarQuicha, Martena and Delshanda, all of Monticello; five brothers and sisters: Gregory Kimble of Edison, NJ, Melvin Kimble of Miami, FL, Debra Kimble of Monticello, Renee Kimble of South Fallsburg and Tina Nelson of Woodridge; seven grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25 from 2:00 to 3:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Willie Smith officiating.
