John J. Johnny DeGregorio died unexpectedly on Friday, November 30, 2007. He was 23 years old.
The beloved son of Bernard and Marie DeGregorio, he was born in Brooklyn on July 5, 1984.
A family statement reads: Johnny is not one easily forgotten. He was known for his fun loving personality, and more than anything, his outrageous sense of humor. He was always quick with a joke or prank, and never failed to make you laugh. John was one of a kind and will be missed dearly by all.
He is survived by his loving parents: Bernard & Marie; adoring sister: Lucia DeGregorio; aunt and uncle: Joseph and Dolores DeGregorio; aunt: Donna DeLia; uncles: Frank and John Saponaro; several cousins; his girlfriend: Shannon Price; and countless other friends including his three closest friends: Michael Banks, Rebecca ODell and Hunter Tsoucalas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00am at St. Josephs Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Josephs Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
