Vivian Elizabeth Riley Barber, known affectionately as "Bibsy" to all who knew her, died Friday, November 23, 2007 at the ORMC Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 54. The daughter of the late John and Vivian Riley, she was born June 17, 1953 in Middletown. Bibsy worked in the restaurant business for many local establishments and was a member of the Mamakating Moose Lodge, Wurtsboro Board of Trade and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. She is survived by her two children: Kristofer and Kacie, both of Wurtsboro; a sister: Patricia of Denver, Colorado; three nephews: Shale, Colin and Devon; and several cousins, and many, many area friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Jack Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 26 at 11:00am at St. Josephs Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Josephs Cemetery in Wurtsboro. Memorial contributions made to the family or to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 East Joppa Road, Suite 332, Baltimore, MD21286 would be appreciated.
