I'll never forget the first time I saw Walt, and how I knew we'd be close. He was always so giving, and so intuitive. He got it. He truly changed my life, taught me the value of honesty, friendship and love. I miss him dearly, and am so grateful to have gotten to know him. My love and condolences to his entire family.

our son was the light of our life. He overcame obstacles in his life a few years ago and moved on to begin to create a new productive life. Tonite we met hundreds of his frienda and heard how he touched their lives. Our hope is that they will in turn move forward in their own lives and make a difference for someonee else. His candle must never go out.

Although I did not know Walter personally Many of my friends knew him, and I had heard many stories about him.. now that he is gone although I did not personally know him, I feel a pain. Nothing is sadder, we all know how much Monticello has lost. All starting in 2004. It's just so tragic, and words cannot make this feel any different. But I send my deepest sympathies, and will keep you in my prayers!

Dear Walt and Carolyn:
I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I have discovered that since becoming a parent myself almost fifteen years ago life is viewed through a different prism. It is the prism only a parent can see through. I hope that your faith and love can sustain you all in this time of such severe loss. My thoughts are with you.

We had so many great memories together. You were my best friend/my brother and a family member. You were always there for me when I needed you the most.I could remember the night we went to wild wood and atlantic city you had told me this was the best time of your life and that you loved me and mike so much that there were more good times to come. Then off you and mike went into the ocean and swam all morning long as this lady walk up to me and said "I don't think it's safe for those two to swim out there." I said,"It's okay I'm watching and if anything happens they will safe eachother."
