Obituary of Carol A. Raymond

Carol A. Raymond passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. She was born on August 17, 1947 in Liberty NY, the daughter of the late Caroline and Joseph Morton. She married Robert Raymond September 24, 1967 at the Lutheran church in Liberty NY and together they just celebrated 40 wonderful years of marriage together. Carol graduated from Liberty Central School district in 1965. She worked as a beautician for many years while raising three sons, Kevin, Keith, and Kurt and worked for the past 15 years at the Fallsburg Central School cafeteria. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monticello. Carol is survived by her husband Robert Raymond; her three sons Kevin Raymond and his wife Amy, Keith Raymond, and Kurt Raymond and his wife Tara; her sisters: Helen Gadziala and Mae Neiss; her brother: Joseph Edward Morton & his wife Margaret; sisters-in-law: Janet Tursi, Karen Nosel & her husband Joe; five grandchildren: Kyle, Cody, Kevin, Annelyse, and Ayden Raymond; as well as many nieces and nephews. Carol was a beautiful, loving, mother, wife, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev. John Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at the Hurleyville Cemetery.
