Mardell C. Riffone of Lindenhurst died unexpectedly at home at the age of 55 on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. The loving mother of Nicholas and Anthony Riffone of Long Island; Beloved daughter of Mardell Auer (nee Roosa) and the late Edward Auer. Cherished sister of Henry Auer, Deborah (Tom) Pawson and Kathleen (Mario) Rizzo. She as loved by all of her surviving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation was held this past weekend at Johnston's Wellwood Funeral home of Lindenhurst, NY on Saturday and Sunday.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
