Obituary of Edmond J. Mulvey

Edmond J. Mulvey, a self-employed landscaper, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2007 from injuries sustained in a hiking accident. He was 46.
The son of Elizabeth Laufersweiler Mulvey and the late Joseph Mulvey, he was born on November 14, 1960 in Monticello.
Edmond was an avid snow skier having competed on the New York State Ski Team. Along with snow skiing, Edmond loved water skiing and was a true athlete excelling in soccer and baseball.
Along with his mother Elizabeth, he will be missed by his loving son Joseph; sister, Eileen McGuire and her husband, Bob; brothers, William (Mickey) Mulvey and his wife, Donna, John Mulvey and Tom Mulvey; nieces and nephews, Sarah Mulvey Gaines, Timothy Mulvey, Kelly McGuire Tremper, Gregory McGuire; great niece Elizabeth Mattea Gaines; his ex-wife Karen Moroney Mulvey, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 12:00 noon at St. Peters R.C. Church, Broadway and Liberty Street in Monticello. Msg. Edward Straub will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Monticello.
