Clifford M. Bickham, Sr. a retired employee for the Town of Thompson died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at his home in Monticello surrounded by his family. He was 72.
The son of the late Willie Bickham and Myrtle Finn Bickham, he was born July 30, 1934 in Covington, LA.
Cliff was a Deacon with the Bethlehem Temple Church of Monticello and was also a member of the Monticello Fire Dept., the Monticello Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Beagle Club.
Survivors include his wife: Ruth Walker Bickham, at home; ten sons; two daughters; two brothers; three sisters; 35 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1 from 5:00 to 7:00pm the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Monticello, and on Monday, July 2 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the Bethlehem Temple Church, Fairground Road in Monticello.
His funeral service will be held on Monday at 12:00 noon at the church with the Rev. Mervin Armstead officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
Memorial contributions can be made to Bethlehem Temple Missionary Dept.
