Obituary of Barbara Jean Buckley

Barbara Jean Buckley, a retired environmental services employee for Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Orange Regional, Arden Hill Campus. She was 65. The daughter of the late Emanuel John Walker and Helen Simon Walker, she was born January 17, 1942 in Ringwood, NJ. She was married to the late Frank Buckley for 43 years, who predeceased her in December of 1999. Survivors include one son: Robert Buckley, Sr. and wife Diane of Bloomingburg; four daughters: Theresa Estevez and husband Jack of Middletown, Helen Kanan and husband Michael of Brevard, NC, Karen Hills and husband Kayne of Wurtsboro and Marjorie Buckley also of Wurtsboro; one brother Emanuel John Walker, Jr. of Ringwood, NJ; Three sisters: Lorraine Bott of Pittsfield, NY, Charlotte Vreeland and husband Robert of Sidney Center, NY and Pamela Walker of Jim Thorpe, PA.; a dozen grandchildren: Lisa, Justyn, Robert, Jennifer, Vanessa, Timothy, Jami, Jessica, Lindsey, James, Tressa, and Michael. Eight Great grandchildren: Brittanie, Daisay, Tyler, Kayla, Hailey, Katelynn, Corbin and Anthony and Several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her devoted Basset Hound, Simmon. She was predeceased by a brother: Kenneth Walker and a sister: Joan Poetz. Visitation will be held on, May 22, 2007 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro. A funeral service will be conducted at some time during the evening hours of 6:00pm and 8:00 pm.
