Obituary of Scott Wayne Bartol

Scott Wayne Bartol, a chef for the Porter Valley Country Club in California died unexpectedly on Monday, June 18, 2007 at his home in Canyon Country, CA. He was 54. The son of June Denton Bartol and the late Willard Bartol, he was born May 20, 1953 in Monticello. A 1971 graduate of Monticello High School, Scott was the grandson of the late Howard Denton, a sergeant with the Monticello Police Department. Survivors include his mother: June Bartol of Monticello; his companion of 32 years: Arlene Brennan, at home; a stepson: Michael Brennan of California; a niece: Colleen Rios & her husband Frank of Monticello; a nephew: Glenn Bartol of Lynbrook; his cousins: Terry Tauber of Chicago, IL, Candy Malaspina of South Amboy, NJ and Kris Willis of Escondido, CA. He was predeceased by a brother: Craig Bartol. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13 at 11:00am at the St. Johns Episcopal Church, 15 St. John Street in Monticello with the Rev. Ninon Hutchinson officiating. Interment of his ashes will follow in the St. John Street Cemetery in Monticello. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
