Anthony Joseph Ruisi, Sr., a sheet metal worker for Norsk Metals in Monticello, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 3, 2007 in the Town of Wallkill. He was 27.
The son of Vincent T. Ruisi and the late Sabena K. Gentile Ruisi, he was born May 8, 1979 in Middletown.
Anthony was a member and treasurer of the Tri-State Car Club.
He is survived by a son: Anthony J. Ruisi, Jr.; his father: Vincent T. Ruisi; a sister: Jennifer Ruisi, all of Wurtsboro; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many area friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 8 at 10:00am at St. Josephs Church, Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Fr. Peter Madori will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Josephs Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
