Elizabeth Mary Sheppard of Monticello, a resident advocate for Crystal Run Village in Fallsburg, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 66.
The daughter of the late Edward Lane and Ethel Hudler Lane, she was born July 2, 1940 in Ellenville.
A member of the Rock Hill Church of the Nazarene, she was a true good friend to many people. She will be missed and loved forever.
She is survived by one daughter: Carol Sheppard of Monticello; her granddaughter and pride & joy: Rosalie; two sisters: Judy Blauch of Tennessee and Elissa Valdez of Texas; one brother: Walter Lane of Texas; her extended family who bought her much comfort and joy: Ruth Holmes of Rock Hill; Melody & Chris Aruby of Amawalk; Marlena Caul of Hawley, PA, Christian & Albert Jacobs of Ellenville; and several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 1:00pm at the Rock Hill Church of the Nazarene, 210 Katrina Falls Road in Rock Hill with Rev. Roy Shaffer officiating. Interment of her ashes will follow in the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
