Joseph Consacro Jr. of Rock Hill, a maintenance caretaker for UCP/Camp Jened in Rock Hill for about 25 years, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 47.
The son of Amelia Vasquez Consacro and the late Joseph Consacro Sr., he was born September 10, 1966 in Staten Island.
He is survived by a daughter: Krysten Consacro; his mother: Amelia Consacro of Monticello; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Vicki & Thomas Prince of Peoria, AZ; sister-in-law: Cristy Prince of Peoria, AZ; aunts and uncles: Pat and James Vasquez of Staten Island, and Joyce and Julius Vasquez (his godparents); and his best friend Pat LaRusso of Monticello. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his wife: Barbara Nordlie Consacro.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 19 from 6-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. His funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Glen Wild Cemetery.
