Grace T. Stott of Wurtsboro, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 2, 2013 at home.  She was 73.  The daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Ryan Griffin, she was born on May 15, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY.  She was the widow of Robert J. Stott who predeceased her on February 3, 2003. A family statement reads, "What a special Mom and Nana she was.  We will miss her jokes and her storytelling but mostly we will miss her warm and giving nature.  She was one of a kind!" Grace is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Marie Litts, of Wurtsboro, her son, William Stott, Sr., of Yankee Lake, her Granddaughters, Kelly Litts and Michelle Litts, of Wurtsboro, her Grandsons, William Stott, Jr and Griffin Stott of Yankee Lake, her brothers, Joseph Griffin, of Brooklyn NY, James Griffin, of Long Island, William Griffin of NJ and David Griffin of Brooklyn NY and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, December 6 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A prayer service will be held at some time during the memorial visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road, Middletown, NY 10940.
