Obituary of Stephen Adam Gagnon

Please share a memory of Stephen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Stephen A. Gagnon was only 24 when he was taken from us in a tragic motor vehicle accident on Nov 9th, 2013, in San Diego CA. The world became a darker place and our lives are changed forever. It would take a book to explain what an awesome person he was. He was a natural born comedian. He could lighten up any bad situation with his humor and laugh, which was larger than life. He was a gifted pianist. He was popular and true-blue to his friends and family. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend. After graduating from Monticello High School, he joined the US Marines. Watching his graduation ceremonies at Parris Island SC was one of our proudest moments. He was stationed over seas in Japan for two years, then in San Diego CA. He was studying at San Diego Mesa College in the field of music. He spoke of becoming a music teacher. He leaves many to mend their broken hearts, including his parents, Robert and Victoria Clark, his siblings, Jamie Zembryskie (Mark Gonzales), Michelle (Keith) Molinari, Anthony Aber, Jessica Clark, Jennine (Christian) Wagner. His nephew Jordan Gonzales and his neice Ava Clark. His grandparents Jean and Dominick Marino. His Aunts and Uncles, Henry and Sharon Miller, Stacie Weitekamp, Roy Clark, Stephen and Tara Clark and countless friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Edward Clark, Hank and Esther Zembryskie. Family and friends are invited to visit Stephens services at VanInwegen Funeral Home 401 Broadway Monticello NY 12701, on Sunday, Nov 17th, 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM, and Monday, Nov 18th, 10AM-12PM followed by services officiated by Pastor Roy Shaffer of the Church of the Nazarene. Immediately following there will be a Military burial at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd Liberty NY.
