The circle of life, and she moved us all, through our despair and hopes, through faith and love, 'till we each found our place, on our paths unwinding. Elva Wilma "Wilbur" Plocharczyk, 78, loving Mother and homemaker from Bloomingburg, NY passed away on November 7, 2013 following a short illness.
She was born in Roosa Gap on February 17, 1935 the daughter of Joseph and Marion Roe. Her duties were always as Mother and homemaker first. She was married to Charles Plocharczyk Sr. and later shared life with her partner George "Babby" Babcock, both deceased. She was born into a large family which included Marion Botsford, Shirley Boniface, June Poharski, John Roe, Duane Roe Sr. and her twin brother William Roe, all deceased.
Surviving brothers and sister include Joseph Roe and wife Bobbie of Bloomingburg, Rhea Arnold of Fair Oaks, Richard Roe and wife Joan of Bloomingburg, Robert Roe and wife Marlene of Westbrookville, Ralph Roe and wife Jeanine of Marathon, NY. She was the Mother to 6 children. Dennis Plocharczyk, deceased, married to Kim Plocharczyk of Waynesboro, Pa and Marion Plocharczyk, deceased partner to Stanley Orzeck of Dingmans Ferry, PA. Surviving children include Charles Plocharczyk and wife Nancy of Burlingham, Betty Doutt and husband Cliff of Frederick, MD, Diana Michalowski and companion James Francisco, of Otisville, Linda Morrissey and husband Jack of Austin, TX. Further she is survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and her faithful canine companion Lady.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 2-5 pm with services starting at 5:00 PM at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro.
