Santa Morales of Monticello, a retired chambermaid for the Concord Resort Hotel, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty. She was 82.
The daughter of the late Francisco and Crucita Morales, she was born February 11, 1938 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
She is survived by her husband: Sixto Martinez Sr., at home; three sons: Sixto Martinez Jr. & his wife Jenny, Domingo Martinez & his wife Carol, and Joseph Martinez; four grandchildren: Brandon, Jesse, Dominic and Bryan; a special niece Maria Martinez & her husband Raymond; and many brothers, sisters and other family members in Puerto Rico.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7 from 10am to 12 noon at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a funeral service starting at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
